5 Places To Enjoy Spring Break in New England

Newport, Rhode Island

Newport, RI is one of those places that is pretty much perfect all year long, but especially when the bright pink and yellow daffodils pop and the sun starts to shine brighter over the harbor, it truly makes this city by the sea extra special during this time of year, making it a great April Vacation spot.

In April, Newport holds its Daffodil Days festival to celebrate the occasion. Enjoy all of the added pops of color with a walk along the Cliff Walk, a windows-down drive on Ocean Drive with a stop at Castle Hill Inn, a hike at Sachuest Point, or a visit to one of the many outdoor restaurants that open their outdoor seating come spring. You can’t go wrong at Black Pearl, Bouchard Restaurant & Inn, Clarke Cooke House, or Showfish Newport.
